And now for something completely different:
Here's some fat old dutchman going crazy.
And yes I like Ibby and Gibby guitars (slang for Ibanez and Gibson),
so here's the Ibby Gibby dance:

Henky, I think you are a supercool dude. Totally fun vid, and massive guitar skills. Mix was wicked tight! Guitar tone is good; it still has a fair amount of mids; I dig that. Don't enjoy when solo-y guitarists/bassists drop all the mids - just my ears. :)

Blazing riffage, and has a Queenish/Celtic feel to the melody. Kinda Angus-like too, but def yer own style. You sir, have skills. :guitar:

The new Gibby sounds AWESOME.

Niiice!
Thanks!
Matty

Brilliant Henky. Great playing and a magnificent display of tongue-in-cheek humour (just like Matty, whose videos also gave me a laugh).

You know this made me think of the electric bagpipes. There was something of a speeded-up Scottish reel about this performance.

5-star fun!

Pete

Cool! 8)

Videos are neat because they let people see what you look like. I wish more dudes on this forum made vids of their songs. I don't do vids myself for 2 reasons.

1. I don't have the equipment to make one.
2. I believe people should be able to keep their lunch while they're online.

Seriously, Henky, this is a great performance both audio and video wise. Again I must ask: Did you pre record the audio first and dub it into the vid or are you actually doing the performance as you record the video?

:^:

Wow! Yours is the only new video for me to review this week!
It IS awfully slow around here. Almost as slow as the orders for bread where I work.

:D

Thanks everyone, it's always a great honor for me to receive compliments from all of you, you're all so talented and devoted musicians, it means a lot to me.

As for the making of this vid and John's question:
The vid might look like it is shot with multiple camera's but in fact it's not.
It was shot with one camera (operated by my 18 year old daughter Lita) and we recorded the song about 15 times, everytime with another camera angle.
I recorded the audio of every take (you can see Cubase running in the background) but only used one of them.
So some shots have the actual audio and some have not.
Musically there was no improvisation involved which made it relatively easy to line up all those takes in premiere and use the best parts.

Awesome Henky!!!!!!
I'm not into the video thing that much myself, but my hat's off to you for putting it all together the way you have. Very pro looking vid, with pro sounding audio to match......

I hear a lot of Iron Maiden in your stuff, am I right they are a big influence????

Great chops, great song!!!!! More please!!!!

Brilliant! :)

I loved the performance and the playing was superb. It's the sort of stuff we used to do in the old band except we had a mad fiddler rather a mad guitarist.

Duly shared.

Cheers

Dick

After a few listens over a day or so...
While I'm not big on vids, your nutty behavior kept me from minimizing the window.
The vid really is the star here. Not that the playing isn't good, but the song itself wasn't as good as you goofin' around for the camera.
Anyway, nice speaker stands.
