Finally after 40 or so years with these songs (I've only recorded one), the simplicity of doing recording has reached low enough to almost match my stupidity. At least now I can record my songs. Still learning Zoom r8, used Tight Mastering setting on Zoom, put into Audacity, amplifying, then compressing. My inspiration for SOUND was "Comin' Through" on the Future Weather collection by War On Drugs, not that I ACHIEVED that sound, but I used it as a sound comparison and sort-of-guide. Turned out way off, BUT I do want a more lo-fi, mixed up sound and got my own version of it:

Still learning. Please comment. Thank You.

I thought your song was quite beautiful. It was nicely written, performed, recorded, and mixed. Started out w/a kinda U2 vibe and morphed into something more America-ish. Two of my favorite pop groups.
Welcome aboard...now get busy, hint, hint. ;)

Good work, man. Fellow R8er here.

Good tune, solid playing. Like diamond solid. I liked the wood block or cowbell hits during the chorus, great accent. What drums did you use? :) Vox remind me a bit of Let's Active.

The mix is good; a little drippy. I'm not a big reverb man; could be my ears. :) I have yet to try the Tight setting. I may have to play around some. :D

Nice!
Thanks!
Matty
