I like the sound of that guitar. You've got a good sound here, first attempt or not. It's too long to hold my attention without some kind of vocals, etc., but I did listen to most of it.

More like it (only shorter and with some vocals over the top). :metal:

Great fun this homerecording lark, ain't it? It gets addictive. You've made a good start. You'll soon find the drums & bass have more potential, and that the dynamic effects avialable for each track can add a lot to your overall mix.

Bravo

Pete

If I could load your station on Pandora- Then I would listen to it often... It was just very comfortable to listen to.

Ya great for a first try. I wish I had these toys when I was first starting. Keep these recordings around, fun to go back on and see how much you progress. Keep it up, you learn something with every one.

There are all kinds of things you could sound-wise to improve this, but the cool thing is the song's overall arrangement and the your use of dynamics; you have all the ingredients here for a great tune....adding some reverb here and there, panning the tracks more L & R, compression, adding or subtracting midrange, etc. is stuff you'll do over time.

The Epi's tone could be better; and I've played that model before, so I know it can produce pretty good sound. How did you record it?

The Martin sound good, but heck, they always do

Welcome to Zoom, though I don't think many of us solely use Zoom gear these days. I use my MRS8 for live recordings. BTW though my name is 'Polly' I'm male and called John. I do wish I'd never started off calling myself Polly. Or that it hadn't been my nickname at school. Anyway... :?

It's a grand first attempt, well done, the tracks fit together and the playing is solid (I can't play any lead guitar at all) and you've got nice sounds here. Have a play with the panning maybe on this one?

Keep up the good work. :D
