While looking through all my stored up stuff when I moved, I discovered I have one of these:
Image

It's a vintage Boss EQ foot pedal (PQ-4). I bought it in 1989 in the midst of my 4 track tape days hoping to improve my vocal and acoustic guitar tracks, which didn't work. The unit works fine. It just didn't serve my purpose then. Now I use plugins for things like that.

It's hardly used and in perfect condition. I think I had it powered up all of 5 minutes once. I'm wondering if any of the guitar aficionados here can tell me if it's worth listing on ebay. IE, would somebody find it useful now as we're 23 years later, better technology, etc. I still have the original box, instruction sheet, etc.

Any tips you can give me I'd appreciate.

:D

Looks to be worth quite a bit.

That's a "Buy It Now" price and he might not get that much for it. I also saw the listing for $102.00 w/ 3 days left.
That's a good amount of money for something I have absolutely no use for, but I still wanted some more insight from the guitar dudes here before I put it up. Just a bit of research on it, I guess.

;) :D

Boss pedals are generally worth top dollar used. Especially ones such as distortions, chourus, delays, and... EQ's. :)

And more so if 'vintage' & 'mint'. You'll get a decent return on it, no doubt. :) I suggest putting it on craigslist before ebay; cheaper & usually quicker. And a lot of pedalheads/gearhounds(like me!) stalk crgslst. :P

Or you could just send it to me. :P

Just kidding, you could use the money I'm sure, and my money will go other places first.

I sold a few Boss pedals on Craigs for $40 each a while ago, and I got lots of replies. I let them go cheap, I guess.
