Hey Marc,...YES!!!
The video is very dark, especially on my phone, not sure they can guess
it is the yrg.
You can say that you used a steel string traveler.

They playing is great. Not much showmanship, though. No electric lightning bolt stuff or anything. :P

I am def not gonna try and pass it off as a real guitar. Wanna play fair. I'm not so hot to win, just have a jam and enter. I did contact them and this is the reply-
"Yes you can :)

Well, I did add some effects to my video production in Craft6 beta, but it didn't render w/the effects...so I also had to file a bug report. So it was even more work for me, although I coulda not filed it because I've already gotten my activation code. But Acoustica Dan was very glad to hear of the bug. It was a really cool fade in/out of a posterize effect at the break and a red saturation at the ending. Looked sooo good and I was more than a little bummed it didn't take.

Nice! I bet that'll get the judges attention. Sounds really different than the stereotypical "shredding".

Your track is very "guitarfan-ish on an electric". Sooo your style. It's almost country music. Nice job, Guy.

I think I'm gonna enter this video....sooo clean. One mistake though...can ya find it?
Watch your eardrums!! This one is a scorcher!! Yo...Henk, I got lightening bolts too!!

What, you stole my idea?
Hahaha but without kiddin you did a great job, very melodic.
Sure beats the "how many notes can i play in a second" stuff.
Nice little video effects too, at the end i thought you switched to banjo for a moment. ;)

And Guy, i'm glad you went for a version without distortion.
Don't do yourself short, skip the "now you know why i never play my electric", you are a great player.
You got a really distinct unique style which is far more important than knowing all the shred licks.
You've done a great job too, stick to your guns and you'll be fine.

:applause:  :metal:  for you both.

Totally dig this, Guy. Very cool vibe, killer note selection. Sweet pull-offs! Gotta say, I like this better than average shred or my typical bluesy crud. :)

Niiice!
Thanks!
Matty

Thanks folks. ;)
I did my best and I said the truth, I'm not a big fan of electric.
Nylon was my first love and..."it will be my last" (John Miles)

Marc : great job, great playing and you said you are not talented for videos... ;)
The effect on the ending is fantastic!

That's a very left-field approach and I think it works really well. I would never have thought about using an open tuning. Great work Guy (and I loved the ending :) )

Cheers

Thanks Lord Langford.
It took me half an hour to find the notes I've played.
I just can imagine what chf, ferret, guitarjeff,Lee,miner and yourself could
propose!

Sure you didn't cave to the angry mob assembled chanting "sh!t or get off the pot" outside the bathroom door? Lol Funny ending...
Kind of a Mark Knopfler vibe (I really like him). Great job man!
