After the help I received a post or two ago which led to the 8VA patch - thanks again - I'm now turning to drums, in the hope of getting lucky again.

On p62, the manual describes how to play the built-in drums or bass manually.

I read somewhere that one can't record the built-in drums/bass played manually on a second track while listening to a previously recorded first track.
Is this true? If not, how to do it would be valued.

In any event, p67 "Drum/bass real-time input" states"You can also enter drum kit.... information with the status keys in real time..."
Then there are 4 steps.

Step 2 seems to do something different on the screen to what the manual says. And to me, step 3 is hard to follow.

Has anyone entered drum kit information with the status keys in real time, andis so could they list the steps they use?
