Congrats and thanks to Zoetrope (For he's a jolly good fellow etc.....).

More emoticons - sheer bliss!. And no more pesky pop-ups - alleluiah!

Will there be different sections: viz: one for technical issues, one for new songs, one for off topic discussion etc? An FAQ would be great.

Yippee. I feel like a kid with a new toy. :) :)

PS. Will registration be compulsory? (at the moment , no) I don't mind too much if it is.

I'm open to suggestions. For now, I'd like to keep it one general board. It's easier to check messages in one board than hop from subsection to subsection. If posting picks up and there's more need to set up seperate forum topics I will.

But like I say, I'm open to ideas. Right now I'm trying to batten down the hatch. Once I'm sure the whole thing is working right we'll start playing with the options. :D

I celebrated my 40th birthday on the 29th and my wife's present was a few days without the PS02 ;-)
And we are going make a frew days somewhere where we have no electrics (no notebooks and so on ;-) - I'm back on 6.January.

I think it would be good to have a separate section for users to post songs in. That way no song gets lost in a flurry of new postings. I also think this would encourage more people to listen to and give feedback to new songs.

I'm thinking another good section would be "Marketplace"... somewhere users can post links or information about supporting products and where to buy them... (i.e.- Armin's stuff... cases, memory cards, other software)

I like those ideas, but I worry that people won't look in those areas and will miss out on posts of new music, etc. We'll see how heavy the posting volume gets.
