I have a mac 10.4.11, PS-04 and I'm using the file manager and a card reader.
Can't get the file manager to read the card reader.
When I click on the card reader all the files are grey.
The file manager shows the project I'm working on but no takes.
Two other projects appear, but no playback (bought the unit used).

I've been using the PS04 Manager software on my Macs for years. It always works, but sometimes it gets a bit querky. It's either 1 - corrupt PS04 manager software, 2 - bad card reader, or 3 - bad card.
Things to try/think about:
Do you have more than one card? Is the problem happening with all cards?
Can you see the files when you click on the card reader icon on your desktop?
Put the card back into your PS04 and re-save all of your projects.
Try downloading a new copy of the PS04 manager.

I checked the card reader on another computer and the same scenario happened.
For now, I'll assume it's the problem and will get another one.
