:?: Using information from this forum, I was able to successfully build a 192 measure, 12 bar blues "song". Pretty straighforward; however, I want to record a rhythm guitar track on top of that, but when I start to record in what I think is SONG mode, the unit goes to the standard canned pattern. I have had this unit since Christmas so I am far from an expert, but have managed to record a few things using the canned patterns. Anybody up to pointing me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance! :D

Mike,

Welcome to the forum!

Not sure I can be of much help based on the information you give. You need to put the unit in song mode before starting to record (but this you have figured out, I'm sure).

To see if it is in song mode, press the RHYTHM button. It will display "SONG ---". If you press play it will replace "---" with the currently playing pattern number. If it is not song mode, it will show the pattern name and number. Pressing the RHYTHM button will toggle between the two.

Press Exit to get back to playback mode (or whatever they call it).

Now press REC and then PLAY and you should be recording audio using the song. While recording, you can press RHYTHM again and it will display "SONG nnn" where nnn is the currently played pattern.

Let us know how this works for you.

I must have been leaving a step out, when going to record. Part of the learning process. Thanks for the prompt reply!!

Kind regards,
Mike
