Hi all, does anybody out there know why when I transfer my files from my Zoom R16 to Mixcraft 5 the tracks start all slightly out of sync.

I've manually lined all the files up to the start of the tracks and turned the 'Snap' function off but the tracks are coming in slightly out of Sync with what they are on the R16.

Does anybody have problems like this with any other sequences or is it just Mixcraft?

Thanks for looking,

Jet

Not a mixcraft user but that sounds highly unusual. The wav files should all start at the same point, I don't even understand where in the process this could go wrong. Everything else is normal (playback rate etc)? How far out of sync are we talking? Why did you turn the snap off? Snap should help you make sure all the wav files start at the exact same time.

Hi, many thanks for your reply.

I read on some forum to turn the snap off.

The tracks are only slightly out sync, but as I am transfering 16 tracks it just sounds an absolute mess. I've tried to manually correct it but it's extremely difficult. Playback etc... is fine. I've also noticed the tracks are transfering over in different orders which is confusing. I have once done this on Cubase, transfering Wavs files from my Yamaha Aw16g, and had no probs.

Its very weird???
