My first post here. Had the G3 a little while and haven't used it much, but yesterday I put it on my pedalboard. I like it a lot, but I don't know how to bypass it altogether.

If I press for tuner, there is significant tone and volume loss from the amp. If I plug in a control pedal and set it to bypass/mute, it just mutes when I press that pedal. It feels like when I turn all the effects off one-by-one (which would be a pain live to bypass the G3) there still seems to be tone loss from the amp. Is there a 1 button switch to bypass the G3 altogether and keep the amp's tone? I don't need the G3 on all the time, I just want to use it here and there... Thanks.

Hi tjinca1...welcome to the group!........to bypass 'completely' the G3 with 'one button press' in the set-up you currently have, I think you will need to procure an external hard bypass switch(these are generally passive..which means no batteries..)...If the overall sound is changing when you bypass the G3 by turning off the three effects, then the G3 must be providing some kind of 'gain' in it's by-passed state...this can be adjusted by pressing the 'global' button on the G3, and setting the output of the G3 to match the level you need........have a nice day!...sideshow bob

I'll try that. Thanks for the tip.
