Has anyone used this mike with the H4? I was wondering if it would be an improvement on the built in mics. I think the inbuilt mics are fine but I would buy the C1 if it was a significant improvement.

Off topic, but I am still unsuccessfully trying to upgrade the firmware to 2.1!

I've used the H4 with two B2 Pro's and the improvement is quite substantial.

I ended up getting a Samson C01 condenser mic instead of the Behringer as all my local stores were out of stock. It performs well although I must admit I have nothing to compare it too. It is definitely quieter and more full sounding than the H4 mics and is perfect for recording in my little studio/ spare room. It is, however, less sensitive than I expected - I have the H4 gain on M or even H when recording acoustic guitar or fiddle.

I must be a bit of a dummy because it took me a while to realise it was a side address mic - I was used to an old Shure dynamic mic. I would have thought the manual might have pointed this out!
