Hi All

I have an MRS 8 which I passed on to my son to use - he has since filled a few sd cards with no probs but the last one crashed, was deleted, power turned off , card removed...........who knows?? Projects are gone.

Now - using a Fat 16 recovery tool I have found a full 986mb of data on the 1gb card BUT the projects and files are all mixed up and unusable after recovery (I am assuming the Fat directory has been damaged or overwritten and the programme is just reading the clusters on the card and dumping them in cluster files - do not show as "Project01, Project02 etc. but as Fat-1-1086(or whatever) instead)

Now with a Jpeg, Mpeg or Word file this is easy as most software recognises these stand alone files - but .zaf .zif and .seq files in a project are a bit different..........

Card Manager just plays back mixed stuff.

Is there a way to make get this deleted but still available data off the card in some usable way to become the original Zoom projects again?

With Thanks
Roy
