CD of original ZOOM PS-02, PS-04, and MRS series music NOW AVAILABLE

CD showcases work of musicians from around the world who use ZOOM recording gear.

Musicians from across the globe have collaborated on a CD of original songs all recorded on the ZOOM PS-02, PS-04, and MRS series of digital recorders. “Zoomilation 3” is the name of the new compilation CD featuring artists from various countries who use Zoom gear record their music. The CD features a variety of songs in all styles and genres, including metal, pop, and alternative.

“Zoomilation 3” is available at http://www.cafepress.com/zoom3 and Zoomilation 2 is still available at http://store.mixonic.com/zoetrope. Individual songs on the CD can be previewed for free, or the entire CD can be purchased.

The ZOOM PS-02 and PS-04 Palmtop Studios are handheld-sized digital multi-track recorder with a wide array of included guitar, vocal and amp modeling effects and built-in drum/rhythm patterns. The combination of these capabilities and a small ‘pocket’ size is considered revolutionary among recording devices. The MRS series expands both on the size and features of the PS series.

“All songs are original and explore the boundaries of what is possible with these tiny digital recorders.” said Mark Weissburg, the producer of “Zoomilation 3”. “This is the third CD in the series, and features some of the most professional sounding recordings yet.”

The musicians represented on the CD are all members of a ZOOM discussion board located at http://2090.org/zoom/bbs and have been exchanging ideas on ways to use and improve the usefulness of the their favorite recording gadgets since June 4, 2001. The combined talents of these “Zoomers” makes this one of the most unique CD releases of the year.
